Pilonidal cyst 3 years ago wasn't drained but healed. left a sinus. it returned last month. it was drained and took antibiotics. it healed. for the last two days, it has been draining blood and cloudy/clear fluid. why is it recurring frequently now?

Unless the entire cyst is removed surgically the cycle of the sinus healing and recurring will continue. Find a good surgeon and have that done. Good luck.

Complete resolution/healing of such cysts usually requires the fistulous tract be surgically removed. I would consult a proctologist to get treatment.
