I assume you have a blood pressure & pulse measuring monitor. Slow, deep breathing can lower blood pressure by slowing your heart rate and dilating your blood vessels ( in this case, the arterioles). Your monitor should document this. I strongly advise getting examined by your PCP for full evaluation & any needed tests or treatment. I think you'd be helped a lot by stress management coaching.

Blood pressure does not lower in seconds. Anxiety needs to be slowly decreased with slow breathing and relaxation, both mental and physical. Constant anxiety needs immediate attention and treatment.
