Had ebv reactivation in nov, now igm is - but igg early antigen is high 42.4 (0-8.9). read this means ebv still active. what are possibilities?

Doubt reactivation: While it is very common to shed EBV during stress and illness as in Herpes simplex, EBV almost never " reactivates" except in patients with profound immunosuppressive, like a bone marrow transplant patient. Hi antibody tigers do not correlate with active disease. Even positive EBV cultures almost always reflect shedding and not invasive disease. Most patients are asymptomatically infected asbabies
