A member asked:

What is the difference between corrected and normal calcium? calcium: 10.4mg calcium: 2.6mmol corrected calcium: 2.42mmol is my calcium high? i did just have gastroenteritis which inflamed my pancreas and liver, high lipase / amylase currently?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

About half of the calcium is bound to serum albumin and corrected value is corrected for the serum albumin level. Your corrected value is within the normal range.
