Do doctors go by unadjusted or corrected calcium? my calcium was high at 10.4mg and 2.6mmol but my corrected calcium was in normal 2.42 with an upper limit of 2.55 mmol? bit confused here, is the high or corrected value true?

When the calcium level is out of the normal range, either high or low, we always look at the corrected calcium level for making the decision. Your adjusted calcium is less than 10.2 mg/dl so you are fine. Take care!
