Gi doc said i have impacted stool up to my stomach. is that possible? i have persistent diarrhea that wakes me up at night&diarrhea during the day, abdominal pain, fatigue, joints ache, blood&mucus in stools. crp 1.2, esr 93, rbc 3.6, alt 83, ast 99?

Never heard of someone being this bound upl. Suspect this is a figure of speaking about being bound up down in GA. I would ask the Dr. It is possible to diarrhea from an impaction. Blood would be uncommon. It going on for more that a few days and you are losing weight I would go back or see another Dr.

Impacted.up to the stomach is hyperbole. It is common, when impacted, loose or watery stool makes its way around hard stool& out the rectum. Your very high sed rate,anemia& elevated liver enzymes all require explanation. Inflammatory bowel disease or some autoimmune disorder are possibilities. I recommend a second opinion at a GI department of a university hospital near you.

For the past couple of months, I've had loose stools in the morning that look torn up and often crumble in the water with mucus floating, even after being on a full bland diet with no triggering foods. GI doc doesn't want to do a stool test. Ideas?
