You don't mention where in your leg the pain is. Could you have injured the ankle during the original injury? If so, it could be the source of chronic discomfort. Nevertheless you should be examined by your physician or orthopedic specialist who took care of your fracture originally. Appropriate tests will be ordered.

Post trauma pain may persist indefinitely, however your pain affecting the buttock may originate in the spine and/or involve local structures (muscles) that may or may not be related to the trauma that resulted in fibular fracture. Seeing an Ortho specialist would be best.
