The concern may be the significance of large amount of blood loss that could cause anemia. You may want to be evaluated by a gynecologist to see what may be causing the heavy bleeding. It is likely to be fibroid and you could discuss with the gynecologist what could be done to manage it.

If the excessive bleeding does not subside in a day or so, it would be prudent to see a doctor or go to the ER of a hospital. For the longer term take oral iron and multivitamins to prevent anemia from blood loss. Your doctor can prescribe medication that can limit your periods to once a year. Wish you good health!
