My 2yr old daughter was sitting on the floor in a laundry basket an she fel backwards hitting the upper back part of her head an now has a large quarter sized purple goose egg there. she didn't seem to hit very hard tho an hardly cried. should i wory?

The kid who is not knocked out or disoriented & confused @ the time of the injury is probably fine. I try to keep them on their normal nap/sleep schedule and visit them with a flashlight while sleeping to check. If sleeping well, leave her alone. Kids will start barfing if problem is coming.

Observation is recommended and a cool pack usually is effective in reducing swelling. If there is any change, including behavior change please follow up with your Pediatrician.
