These antibiotics are not reliable against chlamydia or any other STD. You need professional exam and testing. Your husband's diagnosis should be established (gonorrhea? chlamydia?), but don't delay; you need proper treatment for both. You cannot do this safely without professional evaluation and advice. However, your symptoms may be due to something else -- not typical for any STD. Good luck.
