ANI, i.e. the Alcoholic Liver Disease (ALD)/Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) Index, is used to differentiate ALD and NAFLD. The lower the ANI score the less likely your liver disease is due to alcoholic liver disease. You have a negative result so if you have liver disease, the cause is likely not due to Alcoholic Liver Disease but likely from Non Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease.

It means you need to tell me what ANI means in Dallas? This is the reason we do not recommend abbreviations in Medicine. They can be fatal.
