If your symptoms are under control with just a small dose of Lexapro, you should discuss and request that dose with your doctor. Restlessness alone is not typical for serotonin syndrome but as a doctor when I prescribe medication for controlling the symptoms I always try to use the lowest effective dose in order to alleviate the adverse effects.

Your medication should be managed by a Psychiatrist who understands your medical and psychological history. If you are not confident in your Doctor please see another for a second opinion. Please see a Clinical Psychologist with expertise in multiple types of psychotherapy to help.
