Why does my urine smell like skunk spray sometimes?

If a urinalysis with microscopic examination of the sediment & a clean catch urine culture and colony count are normal, I never found that various types of urine odors were significant. Dehydration, certain foods( like asparagus),certain meds or vitamins can cause unusual odors.

Most common cause is lack of water. Some foods like asparagus, garlic and others also can cause the urine to smrll. If you drink a lot of water and avoid such foods and it still smells you will have to be seen by a Urologist to find cause
