A member asked:

What can i take for reactive gastropathy does it cause burning chest n upper stomach pain? is their treatment what can i do for pain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

My understanding as to the causes of reactive gastropathy generally boil down to long-standing irritation of the stomach lining from meds like ibuprofen or naproxen, alcohol or bile reflux. If the latter pertains to you, there is medication that can be helpful (ursodiol). A gastroenterologist can advise you best, however. If you've already been seen by a gastroenterologist, get a 2 nd opinion
