A member asked:

I got an mri done today of my pituitary gland and they emailed me the results. they said prominent soft tissue within the midline of the nasopharynx most likely reflective of reactive lymphoid tissue. what does this mean?

There is nothing to worry about. They did not see any cancer. Lymphoid tissue in nasopharynx is normal. Apparently there is no finding about your pituitiary. Wish you good health!

This report would be indicative of no profound abnormality, and the "reactive lymphoid tissue" would likely represent current or prior upper respiratory tract infections. Gather that pituitary images were fine. Discuss directly with your doctor how your specific issues should be handled in the future.
