T1 weighted: Refers to the time constant of longitudinal rate of return to normal of excited protons created by external radio frequency application. This can have different interpretations depending upon the tissue being imaged. Best talk to the ordering radiologist before getting too many opinions that may cause unnecessary concern.

Seven yrs ago I had an MRI of skull base. "Superior portion of my Clivus extending to posterior aspect of sphenoid sinus and sella. MRI--Generally low T1 high T2 signal intensity." Most of lesion no enhancement. Could this get worse in 7/8 years?
