A member asked:

My cbc came back with all in normal range, but had 1% immature granulocytes. what could cause this and is this worrisome? symptoms - bone pains, joint pain, infections?

There could be a few immature granulocytes in a normal person; if other parameters are normal that suggests there should not be a concern about the CBC.

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, there is nothing of concern in the information you provided. Wish you good health!
