CBC: Analyzing bloodwork is always a tricky proposition and requires in depth knowledge of each unique patient. The lab test you describe above may be normal but need to be interpreted within clinical context.

Inflammatory markers: Elevated WBC, sed rate (also called erythrocyte sedimentation rate, or ESR), and platelet counts can all be increased in an inflammatory state. Inflammation can certainly cause body aches and feeling poorly. As your doctor ordered the sed rate, then he or she is already looking for evidence of inflammation.
