Transient "lightheadedness" other than from alcohol or certain medications, can represent cardiac rhythm irregularities, such as "atrial fibrillation" or momentary "ventricular tachycardia", and be difficult to detect in the form of "palpitations", especially if "lightheadedness" at the time. Get a referral to a cardiologist for monitoring (Holter counter) to determine the cause.
