A member asked:

What are the odds of a pill getting stuck in the esophagus? i was reading that some people would get this feeling even after they took a pill for a while and goes away eventually. is it more likely to be psychosomatic, irritation, or something else?

Can be all of the things you mentioned. Something else could be congential diverticuums of the espphagas, cancer of it and many other things. The first you menitoned is by far the most common. Where I grew up we would eat some bread if a fishbone got stuck and it worked in most folks I grew up with. Your body is talking to you. Listen and take good notes and discuss with your Drs.
