Crohn's disease: Crohn's disease may affect from the esophagus to the rectum, so if the kid has evident esophageal inflammation, would be good to make sure is not secondary to Crhon's.

Eosinophilic esoph.: Linear furrowing is a finding seen more commonly wit eosinophilic esophagitis (EE) than with Crohn's disease of the esophagus. You should wait for the pathology report to come back before jumping to conclusions though. I have several patients with both EE and crohns. Your Gi doctor will know how to treat this.
