Clindamycin is not commonly used for urinary tract infections, do not use it for that reason. Would suggest treating and preventing further UTI's under the care of a physician, your PCP or urologist. The rapid growth of multidrug resistant bacterial strains is one of the main reasons, modeled by improper use of antibiotics.

Now and for the future avoid taking antibiotics unless prescribed by a medical personel and take it as instructed. Clindamycin is not for most UTI and you increase chances of infection in your bowel called colitis because the antibiotics could kill the good bacteria and make it easier for the bad bacteria that are not killed to take over and cause problems for you.Try fluid intake& cranberry.
