Use tips of your fingers & feel all over armpit including way up in top. If you feel anything confirm with Dr. Roll it around. Assess if it is soft of hard or painful. Do careful breast exam if you find anything. Best to have someone else do it on you is my hunch. It can be tricky. I recall during training that this had to be done carefully in order to not miss ones that an expert Dr would find.

You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!
