A member asked:

I have lump in breast (male) doctor felt it and said its a swollen lymph node but it s been there for 2 months and i have no cuts on my arm or anything he said to come back in 2 months if not gone. is he right or should i get a ultrasound?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

If you have easy access to ultrasound it is an option. Male breast lump, unless it is towards your armpit where axillary lymphnode could be considered, should be evaluated. The fact that you did not see obvious cut on your hand does not mean you could not have had infection with reactive axillary lymphnode. If it is getting smaller I would wait.
