premature rupture of membrane. I am not sure what they base this number on.

PPROM is preterm premature rupture of membranes, or PROM that occurs before 37 weeks gestation. This is a risk factor for whether labor will occur spontaneously or need to be induced. We use the Bishop Score to calculate that. A score of 5 or less means That labor will unlikely start without induction. Perhaps that explains your labor and delivery
