What is the reason the doctor won’t clear you? Is it something you could get under control? What is the procedure? You could ask the surgeon who will perform the procedure for advice-the surgeon may know another provider or you may need a specialist to help get the issue under control prior to the procedure. No physician will clear you for surgery if you have any medical condition that can worsen and make the surgery high risk. Your best reference remains your surgeon who can clarify and further coordinate.
