One red sore in back of throat near tonsil ,very blood red,what could it be? its about size of small pea,no sore throat,no other symptoms.,noticed about 24 hrs ago,could it be symptom of a disease,having very minor ruq discomfor/ 5 months,stays same?

Need to look at it and you to see what it might be. Consider STD if you have oral sex or if you smoke cancer of the tonsil. Best to have someone look and do tests as needed.
