Is it normal to have stomach gurgling and burping hours after eating, following an episode of gastroenteritis(already went to hospital and got diagnosed) two weeks later? before getting sick i didnt have these much gurgling and burping as i do now?

Every time you swallow any food you capture a bit of air in the process. The stomach is a muscular organ that squeezes and churn the food to prepare it for further processing. Any time you put air into a tube and move it around it will trigger gurgling, which is what digestion does. Some make more/less noise than others. I don't consider it a sign of bad things.
