A member asked:

I ate a little bit of tuna salad last night and i'm still burping it up tonight. is that normal with food poisoning or stomach flu? what should i do?

No burping does not: No burping is not a sign of food poisoning.Burping is caused by excess air in your stomach, you can try over the counter semithicone which may help with burping and if associated with esophageal reflux you can take Omeprazole or Prevacid (lansoprazole) to neutralize the acid.
