My mother had a colonoscopy and several small polpys that couldnt be removed about 1/2 years ago. they want her to do a repeat scope in 3 years. she continues to have stomach pain/ diarrhea on and off. concern?

Depends on your mother's age, any other conditions, and family history of GI conditions. If she continues to have the symptoms and your MD is not helpful or Rx not working- suggest another MD

Those polyps would not be causing her symptoms. The gastroenterologist should be addressing her symptoms and answering all questions as well as following up on the polyps.
