So the air goes in the wrong way when you use the CPAP, likely because you use the whole mask, not nasal mask. Your CPAP equipment should be adjusted, talk to your doctor and the therapist about this complication. However, Gas X, simethicone, is not absorbed so it is safe to use long term.
