My 17 yr old indoor-only cat scratched a tiny existing scab off of my hand with his teeth and made it bleed a little. not technically a bite. i washed with soap and water and applied triple-antibiotic ointment. tetanus is up to date. am i okay?

Most likely. Keep an eye on it for a few days. I gets bigger or begins to drain or turns red around the scab or hurts or feels hot see your Dr.

Should be okay. It the wound becomes painful, develops a discharge or the surrounding area becomes red and swollen, see a doctor.

The issue here is whether there was a puncture type wound. If not previous suggestions are right on. If puncture of the skin occurred call your MD as prophylactic antibiotic treatment is usually advised because of the multiple bacteria in a cat's mouth, some of which can cause serious infection.
