Ive been on meds about 4 days 6 doses of augmentin after culture seeing bactrim 6 days doesnt work on my uti im starting to have urgency to pee a lot again . does this mean the one thats suppose to work isnt ? should i go to hospital for test ?

You need to touch base with the doctor that last treated you as soon as possible. The resurgence of symptoms indicates antibiotic resistance. The doctor should select a different antibiotic for you based on the culture results. If symptoms worsen rapidly or are associated with fever, nausea, back pain, then get seen in the hospital.

You should have a urine C&S test , after seeing your MD/Urologist. In the meantime drink plenty of fluids and take OTC Azo. Hope you feel better.
