Sometimes: The audio adds very little info for your doctor.

Not necessary: The audio is the blood flow through the various parts of the heart. Measurements are made as to how well your heart is contracting and it will also demonstrate if you have abnormalities with your heart valves or flow across them. That is typically given in a very detailed report to your doctor. The audio would not typically provide any more information that is not already included in the report.
