A member asked:

Ive had chronic hives for the past 8 months on both lower legs & my right armpit. i think theres a chance it could be cholinergic urticaria. could this be caused by any of these medications - sertraline, co-codamol, tramadol, amphetamine?

Medications are potential causes of chronic urticarial rash, but there are several possible conditions also associated. Testing for specific allergies, autoimmune disease, cancer and thyroid disease and CBC, diff is recommended. Allergic responses to the medications listed should also be considered. Watch for breathing difficulty, weight loss and fatigue.
