A member asked:

If i'm getting transient petechiae on an arm/leg from an antihistamine taken for my chronic hives, should i change the kind of antihistamine or can i keep taking the same one?

It is difficult to: postulate a reason for antihistamine to cause unilateral petechiae. There may be something more serious at play. You need to see a health care provider for evaluation and some blood work. Make an appointment today.
