So today at work i stepped on a nail and it went into my shoe and sorta poked my foot and now i'm worried something is going to happen to me chances of something happening?

Yes. Such puncture wounds can drive germs from the nail or shoe deep in the tissue where they can start a deep infection in the fibers/ligaments/bones of the foot. Clean it out well and do not hesitate to go see your doc. A tetanus shot would be reasonable if none in the past 10 yrs. This can get serious fast. If infection starts deep in your foot, it can lead to hospital care/surgery.
