Have you gone through a thorough workup before arriving at this diagnosis? How do your symptoms present? What treatments have you tried? More information is needed. But there is hope. There are numerous pharmacologic & non-pharmacologic approaches for those suffering from persistent discomfort in the urinary tract. Seeing a doctor in person would be ideal to obtain personalized recommendations.

Urethral syndrome is a fancy diagnosis when the cause of what is causing those symptoms are not known. Yes it is possible to recover from it- you need a dogged Urologist to try to treat it
