"Burning" alone, without blisters or sores, is not typical for oral herpes outbreaks. However, if your symptoms are the same you have had with previous outbreaks, then it is possible you exposed your partner to your HSV1 infection. Not all exposures result in infection, but you should inform her so she can be on the lookout for symptoms and possible treatment. Good luck.
