A member asked:

I was given a methylprednisolone injection and had quick severe pain which led to me passing out and vomiting. it has been 4 days and i have numbness from my low back down to my toes. i dont know if this is normal or not?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

If the methylprednisolone was for low back pain, and given in the spinal area of the lower back, the needle may have penetrated and hit the spinal cord, resulting in the symptoms described. See the physician who administered the injection for an exam and guidance.
