I ran out of the saline solution that i was given to clean my removed ingrown toenail area. is it ok to use alcohol on it now?

What to use: I would soak it in warm water and epsom salts instead of alcohol.

Ask your doctor: Simply soaking in salt water will be simular to saline. Alcohol is usually not a good choice after surgical removal. Consult with your doctor who removed ingrown as he or she will know the most about your specific situation.

A paper towel: With some soap and water can be used to clean off any surface contaminants.

It's OK...: I usually have my patients use hydrogen peroxide, or just warm soapy water.
