Continue of what you have done to prevent recurrent constipation and get lidocaine gel or cream 4% at drug store (CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens), rub around the anal area and inside the rectal canal as needed every 4 -6 hours until your symptoms resolve. You can also get the hemorrhoidal ointment which contains benzocaine.
