That is not normal. Fluid in the lungs may cause shortness of breath when laying flat. Those O2 sats are not ideal for a young 35yo. Please get seen for a full history & exam.

May consider reflux .Can try famotidine or omeprazole and see if it changes or raise head of bed with wedge or pillow under mattress. Would check CXR for rare lesion as well and EKG( less ,less likely). Obesity can be cause as well. Any abdominal distension( besides obesity) ? pain? Consider CT of abdomen to assess F/u/ w/ MD
