I have a soreness at the top of my head every month. it is a bit above my crown region and it occurs regularly around the week before my period. i do not have any tight hairstyles, my hair is short and i dont wear rubber hair ties. why is this?

There is no known association with periods and soreness in the area of your head. Sometimes premenstrual tension can do that. Any OTC med like Ibuprofen or Tylenol will help. Good luck
