Average heart rates are 60-100 beats per minute. Some folks are a little slower and others are a little faster. The heart rate is affected by medications, hydration level, stress, and exercise. If you are concerned about your heart for some reason, then consider an evaluation.

It is normal to feel your heartbeat. To determine the rate of heartbeat, it is better to do it by feeling the radial pulse.
