Can sleeping with earplugs cause damage to my hearing? i switched rooms with my brother and it's infront of a very noisy street and i find it hard to focus and fall asleep. is it safe to sleep with earplugs? wouldn't it cause damage to my hearing?

I can think of no problems that would arise from sleeping with ear plugs. As long as you are in a safe setting and don't need your hearing to be aware of your surroundings this is okay. Be sure to keep them clean & watch for wax buildup as they can push earwax deep into the canal.

If your so worried about earplugs causing damage to your ears, place a noise barrier in front of window, like towels, or a large mobile screen to block noise. Sleep as far away from window as can, and put pillows on both sides of head. Earplugs as a last resort, but ok.
