Antibiotics have a reputation of sometimes interfering with hormonal contraception, especially low dose birth control pills. However, this is extremely rare, and certainly a single dose of antibiotic has no effect at all. But you do need to follow up with the doctor who prescribed the antibiotic: symptoms clearing up doesn't necessarily mean your UTI is gone. Good luck.

As long as you took your BC pill regularly you are not at risk of pregnancy. Re UTI if you feel fine then dont take the antibiotic. Drink plenty of water keep vaginal area clean & you will be fine.
