Your child's asthma plan should generally include an inhaled steroid medication per GINA guidelines. Avoid non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs. Discuss possible triggers for her asthma, including allergic reactions. Avoid smoke and possible allergic triggers such as dust, mold and pollen. Maintain a healthy diet which includes sources of Vitamin D. Discuss the use of the inhaled agent w Peds.
