Is spasticity curable to an extent? ive only been recently aware of a diagnoses as a baby of this. can pressure be relieve so i can live a normal life? i can walk and talk just very tight person, can all this rigidity affect my mental capabilities?

There are available treatments for spasticity, but they modify/reduce the intensity they do not cure it. Some involve meds and others are surgical. Pre-occupation with any health condition can reduce a persons' functional capacity by distracting them from other pursuits. A life coach that teaches relaxation & stress management may be a worthwhile investment.

Perhaps a residua of cerebral palsy. There are conditions which create pressure due to mechanical effects on brain and/ or spinal cord, but if this caused your spasticity, 23 yrs is too late to act surgically. As mentioned, medications both orally, and via a baclofen pump, can help but not fully cure or ablate. There are research studies ongoing across the country for spasticity.
