Was it in fridge or do you live in a very humid place. Should clot and dry in minutes/hours.

Blood dries up in hours, but dried blood on an object can cause HEP- B if you come in contact with it and have an open wound. HEP -C lasts for four days on dried blood. The HEP-B can last up to a week. Lesson, don't touch anything with dried blood unless you wear gloves.
